Thanks for this Ruben. We have a meeting w/ Dario, but he’s still missing key components & foundations to support that $1T. If he moves too early, it’ll cause a Black Swan near-sighted of the actual $1T and beyond support. The market cap he’s hitting is exponential but predominantly hypothesis/hyperbole. The EPC market, mining, pharmaceutical, NGO and other necessary life-advancing markets are not priced in. There’s still a lot of work to be done. At the moment, Anthropic has open 542+ roles. I believe they should focus on that first (it’s a red flag) rather than overvaluating — or they’ll end up in corporate bloat, which will sink their P&L, 6-9 months post-IPO. Stock performance hinges on fundamentals, and right now, it needs reinforcement + better & easier liquid enterprise deals. By the way, we totally love your email digests! We’re huge fans. :) - A27 Crew
The more interesting read is that Anthropic is not being valued on model quality alone. It is being valued on permission. Every enterprise wants AI productivity, but almost none want the political, security, compliance, and procurement mess that comes with letting random teams wire agents into actual workflows. Anthropic’s advantage may be less “Claude is smarter” and more “Claude is the model your CIO, legal team, security lead, and board can all tolerate at the same time.”

The first one to actually hit the IPO will definitely make history. I’m thinking it will be Anthropic, but we will see =)
