This was really a great read. Sometimes breaking down a crypto platform like this really gives perspective on the direction of the coin. Just bought more $HYPE token because from your analysis the team knows exactly what they are building.
The last time someone built something this revolutionary was CZ who built
Binance. At the time I was aware of the product, Binance was selling for $6 per BNB token. I bought about 100 for about $600. In less than two years, I sold all at $300 each. In this October 2025, each Binance was selling for $1200 each (due to recent dips, its selling at about $900 at this time).
I will check back in a few years to see if my total $HYPE token is up 100x or 50x. lol.
N/B: DYOR. This is not my endorsement, I’m just expressing my understanding built from experiences
The 106M per employee numbr is wild. What stands out is how Jeff Yan's HFT background directly translated into system design, you can see it in the obsession with latency and order matching. Do you think the regulatery risk actuallygets priced in yet, or is everyone still assuming they can operate in the grey zone indefinitely?
Impressive, but there is nothing related to AI and etc - it’s pure deterministic programmable approach. Classic software development by an outlier team and a strong business thesis.
Fantastic post Rubem thank you! If Hyperliquid is even a partial template for 'software as the team', where do you see genuinely new human work emerging in this ecosystem, rather than simply fewer people carrying higher legal and cognitive risk?
